The CYIAC Creative innovation “CYIAC Corruption Busters" is our contribution towards achieving global goals in 2030. Our target towards the bold ambition of riddling our communities from corruption will be delivered through educational development in Literary Arts, Music, Dance, Paintings, Digital Communication, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Information Technology.

The Corruption Busters is based on the creative development of children and youth to mark United Nations International Anti-Corruption Day.

Professor Yemi Osinbajo

Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria

Prof. Wole Soyinka

Prof. Wole Soyinka is a Nigerian playwright and poet who was awarded the 1986 Nobel Prize in Literature. A prolific writer, Soyinka has authored 29 plays, two novels, and many memoirs, essays, and poetry collections. After studying and working in the U.K., he became heavily involved in Nigeria’s struggle for independence. In 1965 he seized the Western Nigeria Broadcasting Service studio to demand the cancellation of rigged regional elections in western Nigeria. During the Nigerian Civil War two years later, he was arrested by the federal government and put in solitary confinement for two years. Since this time, Soyinka has been critical of the successive Nigerian military dictators, centering much of his writing on oppression and tyranny. Soyinka has taught at numerous universities, including Cornell, Emory, Oxford, Harvard, Yale, Obafemi Awolowo, and is currently a Professor in Residence at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. In recent years, Soyinka has been outspoken in his criticism of Boko Haram and the role of religious extremism in Nigeria.

Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin

Josephine "Joe" Obiajulu Okei-Odumakin is a Nigerian women's rights activist. She is the president of the rights groups Women Arise for Change Initiative and the Campaign for Democracy. Odumakin was born in Zaria, Kaduna on 4 July 1966 and grew up in a Roman Catholic household. She received a bachelor's degree in English Education in 1987, followed by a master's in Guidance and Counseling and doctorate in History and Policy of Education from the University of Ilorin. She has frequently been arrested for her activism, detained 17 times during the military rule of Ibrahim Babangida. She was involved with over 2,000 cases where a woman's rights had been disregarded. The cases included extrajudicial killings of women or their husbands by the police. The rights of their children were also ignored by the Nigerian school or even hospital authorities. In 2013, Odumakin was presented an International Women of Courage Award from the United States Department of State. The award was made by Michelle Obama and John Kerry at the US State Department's Dean Acheson Auditorium in celebration of International Women's Day. Being the Executive Director, Institute of Human Rights & Democratic Studies; Founding President, Women Arise for Change Initiative; Chairman, Task Force of the Citizen Forum; President, Centre for Change in Community Development & Public Awareness; President, Centre for Participatory Democracy; and Spokesperson for the Coalition of Civil Society Organizations in Nigeria, she is also recognised as a couragious fighter whose consistent challenge against human rights abuses has exposed her to harrowing experiences under the most repressive regimes Nigeria has ever witnessed.

Alhaji Lai Mohammed

Alhaji Lai Mohammed is the current Nigeria's Minister of Information and Culture, a Nigerian lawyer and former National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Mr. Ibrahim Magu

Mr. Ibrahim Mustafa Magu is the Acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He comes to the job with the requisite credentials and stem reputation to get the job done and decrease Nigeria’s perception as the bastion of financial crimes and mismanagement of resources. The "general" has been leading the war against as never done before in Nigeria.

Mr. Ingo HERBERT

CONSUL GENERAL, FED. REP. OF GERMANY

German Consul General in Lagos, Mr. Ingo Herbert is a distinguished diplomat with vast experience in different roles. He has a pragmatic world view which seeks win-win situations in trade and diplomacy. Herbert was confirmed as Consul General in September 2015. Before his nomination, he had served Deputy Head of Mission at the German Embassy in Pretoria and Tanzania. Previous assignments include Deputy Head of Division at German Foreign Service, Ministry for Cultural Affairs in Berlin and Press Officer at German Embassy in Tel Aviv

Bimbo Akintola

A renowned, award winning actress and a notable Director of both TV Series and movies, with the most versatile characters in the Nollywood Movie Industry has another title to her repertoire. Bimbo Akintola has been appointed on 30 November 2017 as Creative Youth Initiative Against Corruption,- CYIAC Goodwill Ambassador to help raise global awareness to promote culture of integrity, curb corruption among children, youth and adults through creative, innovation and entrepreneurship development in Nigeria and Africa. Bimbo is a philanthropist who has dedicated her time and capital resources to helping those in need. In 2013 she took part in a walk to raise awareness for Breast and Prostate Cancer which took place in Lagos and a walk for Autism awareness in Abuja in 2014. Every year Bimbo finances and hosts a Christmas party for Children with special needs. Her passion to lead change in Children and Youth began in February 2017 on the platform of Vision of the Child. She continues her award winning career, spanning Nollywood, television as well as life theatre. She is one of the few Nollywood actresses who have extensive credits coupled with moral values in both Nollywood and on stage.
